Seeing Juan Soto rockin a Trea Turner jersey at the Dodgers Wild Card game a few days ago was absolute money. It’s this type of camaraderie that makes me love baseball so much. You just never see things like that happen. Soto, Scherzer, and Scherzer celebrating with each others after the big Dodgers win was super cool. Soto was a fan that night of good baseball. He could have been anywhere else but he chose to support his boys. Mad respect right there!
I feel Juan Soto is a generational talent. He is an absolute gamer who plays mind games with pitchers to strike that intimidation over them. Ronald Acuna Jr. and Fernando Tatis Jr. are the same type of talent but Soto just brings another element. An old school, “I’m going to obliterate the ball if it’s belt high
type of mentality and pitchers don’t want to face him. Is there anything better than the Soto Shuffle?
Juan Soto is a must watch player in the league. It’s too bad that his squad didn’t make it this year because I would tune into every AB of his. So while we have the whole offseason to get ready for the 2022 season of Juan Soto, let’s just take a look at some of his baseball cards. My homie Mickey always posts his cards (shout out to tatistrader2103) and he flashed this one up the other day that made me stop in my tracks.
And then I got to thinking… Is there a player in all of sports who has better photography on his sports cards than Juan Soto? His whole steez jumps off of the TV and right onto these mini pieces of artwork that I have to be careful with. I’m posting pics of Juan Soto cards from Google because if I look on eBay, I’ll dig a further hole in my debt. So adding these cards to a quick blog is actually therapy for me. And my wallet… And my marriage… And my own damn sanity! If I missed any cool cards, please drop them in the comments! I would love to go check them out.
